Bryan joined the lab as a postdoctoral scholar in May of 2010. Prior to that, he obtained his PhD. in chemical engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he worked in Prof. Yongli Mi's lab. Before that, Bryan obtained a B.S. in biochemistry with a minor in philosophy from Peking University. Outside of the lab, Bryan has worked on several art installations .
